Lifeguard/Instructor

Mistissini Sport and Recreation Department is recruiting to fill out the position of a lifeguard/ swimming instructor in the new swimming pool, recently opened in April 2019. With this new facility comes the possibility to help introduce a new sport, innovate, and most importantly grow in this dynamic environment.

The selected candidate will be offered a work contract to start August 25, 2019.

·         Ensure the safety of swimmers.  

·         Ensure rules and regulations are being respected.

·         Provide a good customer service.

·         Maintain and put away on a daily bases the materiel used for the pool programs and operation. Among others to set up and put away the WIBIT inflatable structure.

·         English speaking and written

·         Have the National lifeguard certification up to date.

·         Have the Water Safety Instructors Certification (is an asset)

·         Provide a clear criminal record

Travel expenses paid with possibility of trips paid for holidays depending on place of origin when hired.

Lodging included: Furnished, TV, Wifi, Kitchen equipped.

·         Guarantee of 35 hours a week

·         Lifeguard: $20/h - Instructor: $25/h
