Optimal aquatic facilities: we're all for it!

A brand new guide on the design and modernization of aquatic facilities for optimal exploitation has been created by the Association des responsables aquatiques du Québec (ARAQ) in cooperation with the Lifesaving Society.

The innovative guide has been launched during the ARAQ’s symposium on November 16 by its two main writers, Hélène Caron, Director of the East region for the ARAQ, and François Lépine, Program and Business Development Director for the Lifesaving Society.

Advice, notes, fact sheets, obstacles and solutions from past projects: nothing has been forgotten in this comprehensive tool that guides the analysis and decision-making process to implement projects that actually meet each and everyone’s needs. “It’s important to be actively involved right from the start of the project – not only at the end!” pointed out Hélène Caron.

The Guide de conception et de modernisation des lieux de baignade pour une exploitation optimale is available at the ARAQ.
