Canadian Lifeguard Emergency Response Championships Results

On May 29 to 31, the Lifesaving Society Quebec division had the privilege of welcoming 144 athletes from 36 lifesaving teams for the Canadian Lifeguard Emergency Response Championships. Lifeguards from Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, New-Brunswick and British-Columbia gathered at Gatineau’s impressive sports center and put their heart and soul into the different events prepared by the organizing committee. Thank you to Aquam, La Direction du sport, du loisir et de l'activité physique du ministère de l'Éducation, de l'Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche, Éduc’Alcool, and Ville de Gatineau for making this event such a success.
Championnats canadiens de sauvetage - Technique 2015
The Lifesaving Society would like to congratulate all participating teams, who faced all situations with flying colours. We are particularly proud to highlight the performances of three Quebec teams, who stood on the podium for winning the Team Triathlon: Lifesavers AQUAM (1st), Synergie AQUAM (2nd) and Mavericks AQUAM (3rd). Ontario’s Rouge Valley Lifesaving Club also deserves special acknowledgment for receiving the award for highest overall point score. Read about the results for more detailed information.

Once again, congratulations to all participants! Your devotion not only contributes to the development of the fascinating sport that lifesaving sport is, but also promotes our cause: preventing drowning and water-related traumas.
