Call for nominations – Comité québécois de développement du sauvetage sportif (CQDSS)

The Lifesaving Society is currently looking for candidates to fill two (2) positions within the Comité québécois de développement du sauvetage sportif (CQDSS). This committee supports the Lifesaving Sport Coordinator by providing expert advice regarding the revision and creation of content related to the development of lifesaving sport.

If you are interested in applying, send your CV to the Lifesaving Sport Coordinator, along with a presentation letter explaining how your experience is relevant. The following list presents examples of relevant experiences that can be considered to be major assets:

  • Relevant experience in 2 (or more) types of lifesaving sport competition (emergency response, pool and surf);
  • Experience as lifesaving sport athlete or coach in one or several championships (on the national or provincial level);
  • Experience as referee in one or several championships (on the national or provincial level);
  • Experience in managing a lifesaving sport club;
  • Experience in organizing one or several competitions (on the national and/or provincial level).
