The Lifesaving Society offers two services to facilitate the recruitment of lifeguards and assistant-lifeguards.

Job Newsletter
Post your offer in the Job Newsletter we send to all holders of current National Lifeguard (Pool, Waterfront, Surf or Waterpark) awards, qualified assistant-lifeguards and Aquatic Emergency Care award holders who authorized the Lifesaving Society to contact them by email. Our Job Newsletter will be sent twice in 2016 (February 4 and March 10). For more information about prices and deadlines, or to use this service, click here.

Job postings on our Website
You can also post your offers on our Website’s Job Search section. First create your account. If you are not a Lifesaving Society’s affiliate member, you will need an employer account, and if you are, you will need an affiliate member account.

Fees for posting a job offer on the Lifesaving Society Website:

  • $46.00 for the first two weeks ($52.89 tax included) and
  • $17.75 for each additional week ($20.41 tax included).*


Once your offer will be submitted, we will contact you for the payment. Note that the first two weeks are free for Lifesaving Society affiliate members.

* From January 1st, 2016, prices will be:

  • $47.00 ($54.04 tax included) for the first two weeks;
  • $18.25 ($20.98 tax included) for each additional week.
