The celebrations of the end of the lifesaving sport season went on as Sports Awards for the 2015-2016 season were awarded. Promising athlete Camille Gaudreault and seasoned coach Marie-Hélène Paquette were happy to be respectively designated female athlete and coach of the year. Devoted volunteer Cynthia Bourgeois was equally pleased to accept the Yanick Graveline Prize as official of the year. Hosting club CAEM enthusiastically became the club of the year, while Valentine Tanev was presented with the Ginette-Bazzocchi prize for the remarkable sportsmanship he showed during the season.
