Offering Swim to survive to students from 3rd to 6th grade

With the help of the ministère de l’Éducation, the Lifesaving Society and its partners offer financial help to schools who want to offer the Swim to Survive program to students from the 3rd to the 6th grade.

TO ACCESS THIS FINANCIAL HELP, YOU MUST :

1. BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PROGRAM :

  • Never have received this financial help before.
  • Have completed all the Swim to Survive program steps.
  • Attend an elementary school in Quebec.

2. FIND AN AQUATIC FACILITY that can host your groups.

3. COMPLETE the Participation request form.

  • Budget must include the instructors and lifeguards’ salary as well as pool rental and transportation (if necessary). We strongly recommend to check with all parties involved for any existing or potential technical service agreement that can help with the project’s funding. You can also have a look at our list of suggestions for possible sources of revenue (in French only)..
  • Once your request has been received, the Lifesaving Society will contact you to answer your questions and transmit, via email, a confirmation of the amount granted for the financial help.
  • You will then receive your certificates through the mail. The documentation necessary for the realisation of the program will be sent to you via email a few weeks before the start of the first aquatic lesson.

4. SEND THE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS AND RESULTS of the evaluation within 30 days following the last aquatic lesson. After analysis of the results and supporting documents, the Lifesaving Society will send a cheque to the organism.
